Speech Therapy.
Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), or speech therapy, helps children develop the communication skills they need to express themselves, understand others, and confidently interact with the world around them.
Speech Therapy
What it is, what it isn't.
Communication is at the heart of everything we do. Our speech-language pathologists help children strengthen their ability to understand language, express their thoughts, interact with others, and develop oral motor skills. Working closely alongside our ABA and Occupational Therapy teams, we create individualized treatment plans that help children communicate more confidently across every environment.

What it can look like
Speech goals at every level.
Expressive/Receptive Language
We help children strengthen both receptive language (understanding words, directions, and information) and expressive language (using words, gestures, or other forms of communication to share thoughts, needs, and ideas), building the foundation for successful communication at home, in school, and in everyday life.
Articulation/Enunciation
Our speech therapists work with children to correctly produce speech sounds, improve pronunciation, and increase overall speech clarity and confidence. Therapists also work on other forms of communication, understanding there are many ways in which a child can communicate successfully.
Oral-Motor Feeding
We support children with feeding challenges by strengthening the muscles used for eating and drinking, improving chewing and swallowing skills, and encouraging healthy, successful mealtimes beyond our clinics.
